About the Job
The Job:
You will be building on an AI-powered platform designed for the lending industry — supporting loan professionals, brokers, underwriters, and executives in making loan processes faster, more accurate, and less manual. The platform brings multiple AI tools into one central system, improving visibility, compliance, pricing, and decision-making across the entire loan lifecycle.

The Role:
We are looking for an AI Engineer who can build reliable, scalable AI systems — from backend infrastructure to LLM pipelines — and take full ownership of what they ship. You will work closely with product and engineering to turn complex requirements into AI-driven features that actually work in the real world.

What You Will Work On:
  • Designing and building AI pipelines using LangChain and RAG systems
  • Developing and maintaining FastAPI backend services
  • Integrating and managing third-party API connections
  • Engineering prompts and handling LLM behaviour at production scale
  • Collaborating with the team to ship features that are accurate, performant, and production-ready

What We Are Looking For:
  • Hands-on experience with LangChain and RAG system design
  • Strong backend development skills using FastAPI
  • Proven experience with third-party API integrations
  • In-depth knowledge of prompt engineering and LLM handling — not just familiarity, but the ability to design, test, and iterate on prompts that perform consistently
  • Strong communication skills — you can explain what you built, why it works, and what its limits are

Nice to Have:
  • Experience with non-LLM AI products from cloud providers — Google Vertex AI, Azure ML, Google Document AI, Azure Document Intelligence, or similar
  • Background in non-LLM machine learning — regression models, classifiers, and similar
  • Exposure to regulated or compliance-heavy industries is a plus

You Are the Right Fit If You:
  • Take ownership of your work end to end — not just the code, but the outcome
  • Can work independently in a remote environment without losing momentum
  • Are comfortable with ambiguity and can make good decisions without complete information
  • Care about building things that are accurate and reliable — especially in a high-stakes domain like lending
